It that time of the year again! Time for some Year End Clearance Savings! As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, one of my favorite projects I get to work on with Bullfrog Spas is promotional material. Each new promo offers me the chance to create posters, postcards, newspaper ads, web ads, flyers, and banners. Furthermore, each promo offers me the chance to brand a unique event with a new visual identity. The visual aspects of the promotion must be in line with our general brand guidelines, but the nature of the promotions allow for a little more creative freedom when exploring different concepts and styles. Memorial Day Promotional Material

One of my responsibilities as the graphic designer for Bullfrog Spas is to create all of the supporting materials needed for our promotions. We run a handful of promotions throughout the year so I get the opportunity to create posters, postcards, newspaper ads, banners, and web ads pretty frequently and it’s something I honestly enjoy doing. Promotional materials are meant to be fun and eye catching and they provide some creative freedom that is not always available in other projects. I produced this set of promotional material a few weeks ago to support Bullfrog’s 2011 Memorial Day Sale.

Bullfrog Spas recently asked me to create a series of marketing items that could be used by their dealer base to help promote an offer for the 4th of July holiday. These marketing items included newspaper ads, postcards, and posters. The title of the promotion was “Freedom to Choose” , which referred to the customers ability to choose a free JetPak from any of Bullfrogs’ 20 models. In designing the materials, I wanted to create a look that was eye catching and bold, but not cliché. Keeping the red, white and, blue color scheme tied in nicely with the holiday, but avoiding all other July 4th clichés helped the add stand out from the hundreds of other “Flag and Firework” themed ads people would see over the weekend. Overall, the sales event was a success and the feedback from those who used the materials was very positive.
