It’s been one my busiest photography weeks in… well ever. I started the week off with a family shoot, had an engagement shoot a few days later and then spent a little time tonight taking pictures of Jackson’s little friend Greyson at the park. The two boys spent most of the day together at Greyson’s house and they got along swimmingly. After we were done taking pictures, the two boys got right back to play time taking turns on the slide and playing in the sand. I’ll post some of the other shoots later this week, but here are a few favorites from tonight’s escapades.

I have to apologize for the lack of posts over the summer. I’ve been spending a lot of quality time with my wife and son and generally enjoying being outside as much as possible. Unfortunately blogging took a bit of a back seat. Now that fall is here, I hope to get back to posting on a more regular basis. And what better way than to show off my little boy! Jackson turned 18 months old a few days ago and while it’s getting progressively harder to keep up with him while taking pictures, I’ll never give up trying. Here’s a few photos from our latest trip to the park…

It’s hard to believe that Jackson is one year old now! It seems like just yesterday that we put the tiny little guy in his car seat for the first time in the parking lot of the hospital and took him home to start a new chapter in our lives. It’s been an amazing experience watching him grow up and develop into an incredibly active little boy. He took his first steps a few weeks ago and now he’s running around every chance he gets…which amounts to about every waking second. It’s been an amazing first year and I can’t wait to see what happens next. With summer on our doorstep, we’re looking forward to all kinds of outside adventures and the stories that will come with them. Here’s a few photo’s from a trip to the park last week…
