It that time of the year again! Time for some Year End Clearance Savings! As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, one of my favorite projects I get to work on with Bullfrog Spas is promotional material. Each new promo offers me the chance to create posters, postcards, newspaper ads, web ads, flyers, and banners. Furthermore, each promo offers me the chance to brand a unique event with a new visual identity. The visual aspects of the promotion must be in line with our general brand guidelines, but the nature of the promotions allow for a little more creative freedom when exploring different concepts and styles. Bullfrog Spas Master Brochure

One of the year’s biggest projects for Bullfrog Spa’s marketing department is the 32 page master brochure. This piece is used by Bullfrog dealers throughout North America to highlight the benefits of owning a Bullfrog Spa and showcase their unique product offerings. I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to design the 2010/2011 brochure and have spent a significant amount of time over the past few months working on it. Brochure design on its own is something I really enjoy, but this project was especially enjoyable for me because most of the photography used in the design is my own. It’s a rewarding experience seeing all of the work we’ve put into photo shoots over the past few years come together in such a beautiful finished brochure. The brochure is designed at 9″ x 11″ and was printed by Hudson Printing in Salt Lake. Following are a few sample spreads from different sections of the brochure.

Bullfrog Spas recently asked me to create a series of marketing items that could be used by their dealer base to help promote an offer for the 4th of July holiday. These marketing items included newspaper ads, postcards, and posters. The title of the promotion was “Freedom to Choose” , which referred to the customers ability to choose a free JetPak from any of Bullfrogs’ 20 models. In designing the materials, I wanted to create a look that was eye catching and bold, but not cliché. Keeping the red, white and, blue color scheme tied in nicely with the holiday, but avoiding all other July 4th clichés helped the add stand out from the hundreds of other “Flag and Firework” themed ads people would see over the weekend. Overall, the sales event was a success and the feedback from those who used the materials was very positive.

Bullfrog Spas Spring Photo Shoot

This past Tuesday I spent the day on location in Salt Lake for the Bullfrog Spas Spring lifestyle photo shoot. The shoot lasted for about four and a half hours and we were able to capture an impressive amount of images. The models were fantastic, and the site was incredible!
