Fall is my favorite time of year and the season here in Cache Valley is incredibly beautiful. My wife and I have started a number of fall traditions since moving to Logan a few years ago. Everything from picking elderberries in Logan Canyon to turn into homemade jelly, to the annual trip to the pumpkin patch, and of course heading out to one of the many corn mazes in the valley. One of our favorite traditions, though, is making a trip to the apple orchard. We stumbled across the little family owned farm called Paradise Valley Orchard a few years ago and have gone back every fall. The orchard grows all kinds of different apples and makes some of the best fresh cider and apple juice you’ll find anywhere. Of course, adding Jackson to the traditions makes it that much more fun and also give me the chance to take some pictures. He had a blast chasing the chickens, picking apples and trying to lift up his pumpkin. Here’s a few from one of our favorite fall family traditions…
